The North Alabama Wine Trail

Uncork North Alabama

Welcome to North Alabama Wine Country!  Here, you'll find six wineries located in the southern tier of the Appalachian Mountains known as Sand Mountain which is a sandstone plateau.  Our wineries are nestled in the  mountains and valleys near rivers and streams with a breathtaking drive through North Alabama.   A combination of geology, soils and climate is what gives the wine growers of North Alabama the opportunity to grow all sorts of fruits.  We grow it all, from the CABERNETS to the mighty MUSCADINES, as well as yummy FRUIT wines!   We embrace our heritage and believe you'll find something unique at each winery!  Wineries are within 75 miles of each other!

Fruithurst Winery
